Welcome to Spring!

It is a time of awaking and coming back to life. I love to watch the trees turn green and see the flowers blooming. We have much to look forward to here at the bakery as well. We are revamping our website, by updating the look and starting a new email club! All you have to do to sign up is give us your name, email address and your birthday. There will be special offers just for our friends and a coupon every year for your birthday! We are very excited about the changes we are making.

Relay for Life is right around the corner and we are now forming our WOW team. You are welcome to join us if you’d like.

Easter is fast approaching and we have been busy in our bakery designing and creating fun and yummy Easter cakes. They make a wonderful centerpiece for any table. Eggs, Baskets or bunnies, they are tasty and fun to look at. We look forward to seeing you in our store and on our new website!

Relay For Life
Relay for Life is fast approaching and we are looking for walkers to join our team. If you want to donate or walk with the WOW team, give us a call and we can give you all of the details!!

Chocolate Fantasy Ball
The Chocolate Ball was a great success. The turnout was great, the food was delicious and oh the chocolate! There was chocolate as far as the eye could see. After much oohs and ahhs, boxes were filled and everyone left happy. I hope to see you all again next year and maybe even some new faces.

Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day is fast approaching. Keep in mind that we are going have kids decorating cakes for Mom again this year. There is no sign-up needed. Just come into the bakery on Saturday May 10th and we will be waiting for you. Anyone can decorate a cake for just $4.Young, old or just for fun.

Communion Cakes
Communion season is just around the corner. Be sure to stop in and see us for your cake needs. We do beautiful cross cakes to help rejoice in the communion or baptism of your child. We also make cakes in the shape of a Bible or you can have your child’s picture scanned onto the cake. We have many styles to choose from or you can design your own. Tours
We still have dates available for tours in 2008! Tours are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week. Call for more details.

Graduation
As graduation season draws near, please keep us in mind for your cake needs. We can incorporate school logos, colors and special interests into any cake. If your child was in the band or played a sport, we can make you a theme cake. Any school, any colors and any activities. We can do it all! Remember March is Optimism Month. Take the time to see the sunny side of your life and let others feed off of your joy!

Remember
April is Kite Month. Take time to go outside and watch a kite fly in the breeze.

Website We are currently making changes to our website. We are revamping and creating an email list complete with free offers and coupons just from our email friends. If you are interested in joining up, go to the website or fill out a card the next time you are in the bakery!

• March 10th: Napping Day Stop by the bakery on this day, and we will give you a free cup of coffee to perk you up!
• March 19th: Good Friday Stop by the bakery and wish us a Hoppy Easter and receive a cutout of your choice free!.
• March 23rd: Easter We will be closed on this day but we wish you a blessed holiday.
   
• April 7th: No Housework Day Stop by the bakery and enjoy a free bar instead of cleaning house!
• April 17th: Blah Blah Blah Day Stop by the bakery and say blah blah blah to any bakery lady and we will give you 6 free cookies!
• April 22nd: Earth Day Come into our bakery and tell us how you are “green” and we will give a free muffin for being a good citizen.

Try our chicken pot pies or pasties. Call us an at least an hour before and he will bake them for you! You can pick them up hot and ready for lunch or dinner! Baker Charlie cooks up his Copper Country Style Pasties.  These are my mother' recipe. Made with ground sirloin, potatoes, rutabaga, onions and carrots. We can also ship them. Named the Detroit News Best Pasties in Detroit.
